Five Things To Remember On April 4

2. The Subcommittee on the Church in Latin America approved funding for 132 projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, worth over $3.1 million, to aid pastoral work in that region. The funds also will allow young people to attend World Youth Day in Brazil, July 23-28.

3. You think this girl is going to throw away this cast signed by Pope Francis? That's a lifetime keepsake right there.

4. Archbishop Joseph Kurtz, vice president of the USCCB, will take part in a Christian Churches Together gathering in Birmingham, Alabama April 14-15 to sign a response to Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Letter From Birmingham Jail." In a statement, Archbishop Kurtz said, "In taking up the challenges of Martin Luther King's letter, we hope to enhance racial justice and strengthen our bonds with one another."
